In the early 70s, ESDI was the first school to apply for affiliation at the ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design), thus acknowledging the importance of building an international dialogue in order to carry out professional activities in design. Holding true to this view, ESDI is now seeking to set up new partnerships with other institutions, both locally and globally, aiming to promote higher educational achievement for its students, in addition to providing opportunities for further enhancement to its professors and creating new prospects of concrete cooperation in projects and research. Having those objectives
