‘O todo não é a(à) parte’ é um projeto que visa promover o reconhecimento de semelhanças e possíveis influências de danças árabes nas expressões culturais brasileiras. Este consiste de três tipos de peças gráficas: flipbook; cartão postal e spread de revista. Todas têm em comum o objetivo de intrigar e surpreender o espectador ao perceber semelhanças inusitadas entre essas danças.

“The whole is not a part (apart)” [“O todo não é a (à) parte”] is a project that aims at promoting the recognition of similarities and possible influences of Arabic dances on Brazilian cultural expressions. The project consists of three graphic elements among a wider group: a flipbook, a postcard and magazine spread. Based on different communication strategies, they all have the common goal that is to awe and surprise the viewer, through unexpected similarities between these dances.
