Our mission is to subsidise the formulation of design and management solutions that promote improvements in the care (end), administrative and training (means) functions for the delivery of quality healthcare to the population within the SUS and the supplementary system.

This line brings together research that reflects on different manifestations and means of visuality and image technologies, as well as design's relationship with history and material culture; it brings the visual arts closer to digital technologies and investigates moving image processes, graphic production, data visualization, artificial intelligence and interface design.

This line of research focuses on innovation and services, investigations into ways of managing knowledge and decision-making processes.

Based on an understanding of the political implications of design, this line seeks to investigate the field's relationship with design thinking and the processes of knowledge production, subjectivisation and social transformation in contemporary societies.

The line of research investigates the making of design in anthropocene, dwelling and territoriality, together with areas such as anthropology, philosophy, architecture, urbanism and art.
