O curso pretende apresentar técnicas na manipulação do giz e outros materiais para a elaboração de quadros, seja para uso pedagógico ou comercial. Serão abordados temas como composição, tipografia, ornamentos e referências, além de oferecer uma atividade práticas orientada à elaboração de quadros. 

In this line of research, the terms technology, product and innovation help to delimit the broad field of design studies. The research gathered here analyses theoretical and practical contributions to the production of knowledge in both academic and business circles.

Starting from a scenario in which technological mediation is constituted and condensed as a structural form of relations in an information society, this research takes a fresh look at practices in the field of design teaching. This study looks at how perceptions and sensitivities regarding the use of digital technologies are in some way representative in the context of Esdi's design course. Institutional and private initiatives regarding access to and use of digital technology at Esdi seem to be circumscribed by a whole universe of possibilities and values. The object of this research is to get to know the practices and reflections that take place around digital information and communication technologies in the context of a design course at a public university, ESDI, understanding that this use is a vector for the production of subjectivities in design teaching.

The research group aims to investigate and discuss the ways in which subjectivity is produced in the field of Design, in dialog with other areas of knowledge. The research seeks to explore the multiple possibilities of perception and action in the contemporary world, structured by information and communication technologies. One of the group's areas of study focuses on how perceptions and sensitivities regarding the use of digital technologies are somehow representative in the context of design teaching. Other research addresses issues such as surveillance capitalism and data colonialism, which are crossed by neoliberal logic. We are also investigating the idea of emancipatory education, digital activism and the free software movement. The group is interested in the study of the philosophy of technology and is currently studying the book Technodiversity by the philosopher Yuk Hui, who advocates a multiplicity of cosmotechniques.
