A pesquisa teve como tema a leitura da paisagem urbana da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, priorizando os aspectos relacionados à identificação da imagem gráfica a partir da análise dos diversos elementos que a compõe e, posteriormente, a seleção de um componente por sua presença, história e expressão gráfica no espaço urbano: as pedras portuguesas.

The research had as its theme the reading of the urban landscape of the city of Rio de Janeiro, prioritising the aspects related to the identification of the graphic image from the analysis of the various elements that compose it and, later, the selection of a component for its presence, history, and graphic expression in the urban space: the Portuguese stones.
