O projeto monográfico “Identidade Carioca: resgate a história cultural”, de José Joaquim de Barros desenvolveu um vídeo que faz parte de uma exposição transitante que conta a história da Revolta da Vacina, tendo como base a busca pela cidadania e pelos direitos de autonomia individual. Assim, sobre a reflexão temática da identidade de um povo construído a partir da história de uma determinada sociedade e suas transformações sofridas ao longo do tempo, a ideia foi resgatar a história cultural da cidade do Rio de Janeiro por meio de situações e manifestações em que se buscou cidadania. Portanto, a proposta foi desenvolver um projeto sobre um dos momentos mais tensos e intensos da história do Rio de Janeiro de busca pelos direitos e democracia. Contudo, foi desenvolvido uma seção do que seria uma exposição itinerante destinado a ser apresentada em ruas da cidade sobre a busca pela cidadania popular durante a Revolta da Vacina.

The monographic project "Identidade Carioca: rescue the cultural history", by José Joaquim de Barros developed a video that is part of a transitory exhibition that tells the story of the Vaccine Uprising, based on the search for citizenship and the rights of individual autonomy.
