Design, territorialities and anthropocene

The line of research investigates the making of design in anthropocene, dwelling and territoriality, together with areas such as anthropology, philosophy, architecture, urbanism and art. Questioning the human exceptionalism characteristic of modern thought, it uses situated approaches, whether speculative, critical, collaborative, cartographic or project-based, seeking ways of imagining, narrating, fabulating, fictionalising and disputing paths to the future. Examining what characterises the age of ‘Man’ - the Anthropocene - he rethinks design in a cosmopolitical dimension, paying attention to the colonial matrix of power alongside social struggles.
