Design, culture and visuality
This line brings together research that reflects on different manifestations and means of visuality and image technologies, as well as design's relationship with history and material culture; it brings the visual arts closer to digital technologies and investigates moving image processes, graphic production, data visualization, artificial intelligence and interface design. It also addresses research into the written form, the relationship between writing and image and the role of writing in contemporary media.
