O objetivo do projeto Cascadura - Caminhos do Subúrbio consiste em divulgar um conteúdo compreensivo sobre a história do bairro de Cascadura, situado no subúrbio carioca, veiculando as informações por meio de um website, tornando-as públicas para que os indivíduos interessados em conhecer a cultura fluminense, compreendam a história construída pelos antigos moradores da região. Além de informar e despertar uma postura de interesse, respeito e preservação à sua memória, bem como dotar o cidadão de ser pertencente à construção patrimonial e apresentar uma visão geralmente desconhecida que temos dessa região que foi de suma importância para o desenvolvimento da cidade do Rio de Janeiro.

The goal of the Cascadura project - Paths of the Suburb is to release a comprehensive content on the history of the district of Cascadura, located in the “carioca” (from the city of Rio de Janeiro) suburb, divulging the information by means of a website, making it public for individuals interested in knowing the “fluminense” (from the Rio de Janeiro State) culture understand the history built by former residents of the region. In addition to informing and awakening a posture of interest, respect and preserve its memory, as well as provide the citizen to be belonging to building assets and provide a vision usually unknown that we have in the region which was of major importance for the development of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
