O presente trabalho tem por objetivo delinear as maneiras através das quais o design atua como um agenciador de identidades heteronormativas que servirão ao modelo heterocentrado do qual se retroalimenta o capitalismo. A pesquisa busca, ainda, evidenciar como a classe de designers se vê refém de uma agenda de precarização do trabalho que a impede de ter qualquer autonomia intelectual sob sua produção, sendo conformada a atender às demandas da classe contratante que, em geral, se compromete exclusivamente com os lucros do que produz. Ao longo dos capítulos, analisarei questões relativas à heteronormatividade no design, condições de trabalho, raça, classe social e o cotidiano em uma escola de design. A partir destas observações, acessaremos reflexões que conjugam estas análises no intuito de entender como a precarização do designer trabalha a favor da manutenção de um sistema capitalista heteronormativo.

The present work aims to outline the ways in which design acts as an agent of heteronormative identities that will serve the heterocentric model from which capitalism feeds. The research also seeks to show how the class of designers finds themselves hostage to an agenda of precarious work that prevents them from having any intellectual autonomy under their production, being obstinate in meeting the demands of the contracting class, which, commits exclusively to the profits of its production. Throughout the chapters, I will analyze issues related to heteronormativity in design, working conditions, race, social class and daily life in a design school. From these observations, we will access reflections that combine these analyzes in order to understand how the precariousness of the designer works in favor of maintaining a heteronormative capitalist system.
